hehe..i know its silly..but my boy turned 5 today..he is a joy to my heart..the sun on a cloudy day..my best buddy..my secret keeper..my foot warmer on a cold day..the one constant thing in my life the past 5 years..now he shares with aaron and he does not begrudge him one minute of the time that used to be totally his..instead he loves aaron with his whole little wiggly body and the biggest heart a dog can have! he is something else..happy birthday little man..your mama loves ya.. Happy Birthday.,,,is all i can say.
Yer dog chele, is soooo cute.
I had a dog once.....or actually twice...but the dog i am speaking of is one who, just was my guardian angel.
I got real sick (as some know) in 1989....
i was alone at home all day....while my folks, and one sibling went to work.
Finally, my parents were, well lets just say, NOT SELFISH..........and drove me to find my new puppy/best friend. ..and bring her home.
This dog, stayed with me, til i was able to "fly with my own wings"..........and once that happened, she died.
awwwwwwwwww ***** ok i'm cryin *L*
If i want anyone to believe something,,,,,,,,it is that dogs/animals.........can help us thru our DARKEST hours..........i shall forever feel blessed, this dog came to be mine.

Kass..i completely understand you..i had two of those dogs in my life..tango is the third..but thankfully he has stayed even after the "helping me over the hard times" were past..my first one got me thru an abusive marriage he was with me till the day i got the courage to leave..and he protected me even after i had left and still wasnt able to be safe..he was killed in an accident at age 4..a freind gave me another boxer and he was with me thru the divorce..thru the rebuilding of my life to the time i was finally settled in a new job and happy..then at 4 he had a heart attack and was gone..both of them boxers..both lost at 4 years old..i said no more dogs..but Tango picked me out..i hadnt seen a white boxer before so i went to have a look at the pups..9 of them running round..so cute.but as i was leaving..tango followed me to the gate..i stopped and he put his teeny foot on the top of my shoe..and stared up at me..when i reached down to pick him up..i heard the unmistakable sound of my heart coming out of my chest..i knew then we werent meant to be..*L..and he came home that night..he never cried once for his mama either...he had a new mama and was a happy fella..ive never regreted getting him..not once..and i guess today was special for me becasue after losing two great little boys at 4..tango making it to 5..well..i had been scared it might happen again..if that makes sense..thanks to all of you for sharing today with me..
